Robert Baumgartner a écrit ‘The Daemon’s Gift’ pour la Black Library avant de prendre son congé (définitif à cette heure) de Nottingham. On peut noter qu’un John Robert Baumgartner poursuit une carrière littéraire (‘Like Losing Your Left Hand’, ‘So Ends the Immortal’) depuis le début des années 2010, soit au moment où ‘The Daemon’s Gift’ a été publié (‘Death and Dishonour’), mais il s’agit encore une fois d’une simple spéculation.
