Chris Dows s’est positionné sur un secteur de niche de la GW-Fiction : le récit des aventures renversantes des Paras Elyséens (‘The Mouth of Chaos’, ‘Scions of Elysia’, ‘Renegades of Elysia’, ‘Martyrs of Elysia’). Il a également écrit un roman sérialisé pour ce filon de Khârn (‘The Red Path’). Il a également donné de sa personne pour chroniquer la difficile conquête de la Blackstone Fortress (‘Augur of Despair’).
